KAIAO employs over 50 hand-craft specialists to finish and assemble your models. From de-flashing and pre-fitting to gluing, filling, sanding, modifying, measuring, and final assembly, they attend to every engineering and design detail. We strive for perfection on every part of every project.
Our Polishing Department delivers high-quality metal finishes. Whether you need a machined finish, chrome mirror polish, brushed satin, or glass-bead blast, we can provide it. Our polishers also hand-finish PMMA to a crystal-clear result, and we vapor-polish PC parts with specialist solvents to restore optical transparency.
Our Painting Department is where your project comes to life. Painting technicians work inside 4 professional automotive paint booths within a 160 m² custom-designed, dust-free down-draft environment. We spray with top-line guns and airbrushes from SATA, IWATA, and DeVilbiss, using UV and acrylic 1K/2K PU refinish coatings from PPG, DuPont, and AkzoNobel. From mobile phones to vehicle components, KAIAO can apply any surface treatment—in any colour, texture, or gloss you specify.
KAIAO offers a full selection of specialty surface treatments: anodizing, electroplating and water electroplating, chrome and nickel plating, powder coating, laser etching, and silk-screen / pad printing. For visual or functional requirements, our audited suppliers apply production-grade treatments to both plastic and metal prototype and production parts.
