The second case is that the special structure cannot be processed or cannot meet the requirements.


For example, a square sealed box is a structure that needs to be supported. 3D printing can print and seal, but there will be support, and customers certainly don't want to be supported. At this point, it needs to be disassembled and printed, with the support removed. For example, the glasses in the image below are printed separately from the frame and legs because the interface between the frame and the legs is closed and cannot be flexibly rotated when printed together, so a prototype of the glasses cannot be used. Of course, the glass in the picture below is printed in a single piece, and by design, the final 3D print can also rotate the flexible device. The examples here are for reference only.


To print transparent photosensitive resin on 3D printing, it is necessary to grind the transparent photosensitive resin, and the position of the rod is still good. Some parts cannot be machined with CNC machines. Some small parts cannot be processed with CNC knives and gongs and need to be disassembled for processing.


The third situation is that disassembly and processing may be cheaper, disassembly and printing may be cheaper, and waste materials. Since the prototype model needs to be processed up and down, the CNC machining time will be longer and more complicated. Therefore, if the handle panel model is handled as a whole, the price will be much higher than the part to be machined.


Within the printable range, 3D printing is rarely cheaper than printing because 3D printing is additive manufacturing. Except for the necessary auxiliary materials, the rest are materials used to print models. 3D printing does not have complex structures and high model processing costs. Case.


After the parts are printed, they must be glued together. If the parts are glued, it will leave a sticky mark, a piece of the spliced mark. If the 3D printed hand model is for appearance verification, it has little effect because glue marks are not visible after the hand model is colored. If it's a functional verification, it may be affected by a point because the force will be affected by some. Of course, as a function test, it is necessary to see the manual model's structure, purpose, and materials.
