The CNC prototype model is a product of modern industry. Machining Center is abbreviated as MC, which is a high-efficiency automatic machine tool for processing complex-shaped workpieces composed of mechanical equipment and numerical control system. The processing center is also called the computer gong. The machining center is equipped with a tool magazine and has an automatic tool change function. It is a CNC machine tool that performs multi-process processing after clamping the workpiece once. The machining center is a highly mechatronic product. CNC prototype processing method: Generally, the workpiece is processed on the upper and lower sides. Under special circumstances, the workpiece will be processed on three, four, five or six sides. In the process of processing, we will retain the glue in the surrounding basket for the product (workpiece), use the side basket to pull the bone to fix the product (workpiece), pour the plaster to position the product (workpiece), and the product (workpiece) and CNC during processing There will be no adhesive effect on the work surface, which better guarantees that the processed product (workpiece) will not be deformed and the material level of the product (workpiece) will be accurate. In addition, gypsum is an indispensable auxiliary material in prototype processing. The cavity surface has been hollowed out during the reversal process, and the wall thickness of the product is generally thin, so thin-wall jitter will occur in the process, which has a great impact on the appearance of the product. After the plaster is filled, it is equivalent to adding a support, which prevents thin-wall jitter during processing and ensures the processing effect.

Selection of plastic materials for CNC prototype processing: ABS (imported, domestically produced, black, flame retardant, etc.), POM (Saigang), PMMA (acrylic), PA (nylon), PC, PP, bakelite, metal material: aluminum alloy , Magnesium alloy, zinc alloy, copper and so on.

(2) Numerical Control Prototyping: The main workload is completed by CNC machine tools, and depending on the equipment used, it can be divided into laser rapid prototyping (RP, Rapid Prototyping) prototypes and machining center (CNC) prototypes.  

A: RP prototype: mainly produced by laser rapid prototyping technology.  

B: CNC prototype: mainly produced by machining center.  

RP prototypes have their own advantages compared with CNC prototypes:   

The advantage of RP prototype is mainly in its rapidity, but it is mainly formed by accumulation technology, so RP prototype is generally relatively rough, and there are certain requirements on the wall thickness of the product, for example, the wall thickness is too thin to be produced.  

The advantage of CNC prototype is that it can accurately reflect the information expressed in the drawings, and the surface quality of CNC prototype is high, especially after the surface spraying and silk printing are completed, it is even more glamorous than the product produced after the mold is opened. Therefore, CNC prototype manufacturing has increasingly become the mainstream of prototype manufacturing.
